SUCCULENTS & CHARCUTERIE — BUSINESS LAUNCH PARTY

I had a unique challenge earlier this year helping a business owner plan a launch party for her new life coaching business, She Rises. She wanted to introduce her services to the community, while showcasing her offerings in a fun and engaging way.

The concept she brought to me was to combine two activities to draw women in: charcuterie and succulents! Thus, the event was born.

We chose to host the launch in their office space, a historic building in the downtown square. Because she has an eye for design, not much was needed to spruce up the space.

With a business event, there’s an underlying focus on making sure the expenses yield a high return, so it’s important to be strategic with your budget.

We gathered materials to make a succulent bar, where attendees could put together their own plant. The owner supplied pots, plants, soil, and decorative items, but guests could put their own creativity to work to create the final product.

We chose to make a daytime event, providing light bites in the form of a charcuterie table – her specialty.

To gather information and follow up with attendees, we held a raffle, giving away some pre-made succulent pots and macrame. When all was said and done, the event perfectly represented the She Rises brand, the owner, and the ladies who attended.
